It was my sister Brijitt's birthday today and I'm glad she had a great one.

It used to be that only a handful of people would really take notice. I mean, in the Philippines her birthday occured during our summer vacation so none of her school chums knew.

Well today it was different. Today her youth group went all out and held a little party for her. My friend Kathleen even bought her a cake from Red Ribbon and I thought that was really sweet of her to do so. She even got a surprise gift from someone whom she never really expected would notice.
